Guidelines
for using Tech4Learning screen shots
Tech4Learning does not
object to third party use of screen shots of Tech4Learning software products in
advertising, on product packaging and documentation, in books and other
printed matter, on video tape, in tutorial software applications, or on
World Wide Web pages so long as the use is not disparaging and provided
you adhere to the following additional guidelines which may be amended
from time to time.
Please note that
Tech4Learning, Inc. does not grant permission to use third party content
contained within screen shots and therefore makes no representations or
warranties.
If your use falls
within these guidelines, no further written permission will be required.
You may NOT use the following type of screen shots:

Screens from beta
products or unreleased products.

Screens that contain
photos and other images that contain the company name,
trademarks, logos, etc.
For Tech4Learning product boot-up screens, opening screens, or
“splash screens”:

Tech4Learning product
boot-up screens, opening screens, or “splash screens” may only
be used in documentation for educational materials or books written
about Tech4Learning products. All other use of Tech4Learning
splash screens, including use in marketing materials, is strictly
prohibited.
For All Uses of Screen
Shots
1. You may not disparage Tech4Learning or any of its products in your
use of Tech4Learning product screen shots.
2. You may not use Tech4Learning product(s), product name(s), corporate name,
screen shots or other copyrighted material in a way that would indicate
Tech4Learning sponsorship, affiliation or endorsement of your product(s)
or service(s).
3. While you may capture Tech4Learning product screens using your own
technology and resize the images to fit your needs, you may not alter the screen
image and/or title bars, pull-down menus, dialog boxes, or icons in any
way. Screen shots must appear precisely as they would in the
Tech4Learning product.
4. Screen shots from Tech4Learning products are allowed in the following materials,
but should not be the most prominent visual element in those
materials:

Advertisements
-
Books
-
Product Packaging
-
Other Printed Matter
No more than 10% of
your content should be Tech4Learning screen shots.
5. If any Tech4Learning product is mentioned, the full name of the
Tech4Learning product and the trademark as it appears on Tech4Learning
packaging should be used at the first and most prominent mention, or as soon
as practicable thereafter.
6. A note attributing trademark ownership to Tech4Learning should be
used on the product credits page.
7. The copyright attribution should state: "Screen shot(s)
reprinted by permission from Tech4Learning, Inc".
