Software Developer

Overview:

Tech4Learning is looking for a skilled Java software developer to join our software development team and contribute to our cause of developing award-winning educational software.

Applicants for this job should have a background in developing GUI-driven desktop applications for Windows, Macintosh OS X and Linux.

Ideal Skill Set:

• Java programming expertise (Sun Java certification preferred but not essential)

• Extensive experience with multimedia in Java (QuickTime for Java, JMF or other experiences).

• Experience developing Swing desktop applications

• Windows/OS X/Linux JNI experience (C/C++/Objective C)

• Java performance tuning

• Extensive knowledge of Windows, Macintosh OS X and Linux, including Java integration, printing, displays, and i/o

• Familiarity with image and image file formats

• Working knowledge of format specifications and image operations
