UMPC Requirements

UMPC (Netbook) Support

Tech4Learning supports the use of Frames, Pixie, and Share on ultra-mobile (“Netbook”) computers.

Your UMPC must support a screen resolution of 1024x600 and meet the remaining system requirements for Windows and Linux:

Windows

Pentium® III 700 or better
Windows XP or Vista
512 MB RAM

1024 x 600 video resolution or higher
300 MB hard drive space

Linux

Pentium® III 700 or better
Edubuntu/Ubuntu or SUSE 10.3
512 MB RAM

1024 x 600 video resolution or higher
300 MB hard drive space

Frames, Pixie, and Share will automatically detect that you are running in small-screen mode and change the interface.

Tech4Learning applications not listed on this page require a screen resolution of 1024x768 or higher.
