You will need to re-register the upgraded software.

1. Open ImageBlender. 

2. Go to the Apple menu and choose About ImageBlender.

3. Make a note of your registration number. You will need this number to register the 2.5 version of ImageBlender.

4. Close the About dialog and quit ImageBlender.

5. Restart into the operating system you plan to use ImageBlender with. To upgrade to the OS X version of ImageBlender, run the installer after restarting into OS X. To upgrade to ImageBlender for OS 8.5 to 9.2 (or for use in Classic mode), run the installer after restarting into OS 8.X or higher.

If you want to install ImageBlender for both operating systems, you will need to run the installer while running in both operating systems.

6. Download the upgrade to your computer. The downloaded file will unstuff automatically.

7. Close your browser. You will see the ImageBlender 2.5 Upgrade icon on your desktop.

8. Double-click the ImageBlender 2.5 Upgrade icon to begin the installation. ImageBlender 2.5 will be installed on your computer.

When the installation is finished, you will be able to begin using ImageBlender 2.5.

9. Open ImageBlender and enter your registration number at the Registration dialog.

Note: If you are upgrading multiple computers, save the installer from the first computer into a network folder and move the file over the network. The installer is a large file, so this will be easier than downloading the installer each time.
