Recipes and Snacks 

 

The Recipes4Success are a sensational hit for staff development. I had a Word training scheduled last week and decided to use them. Teachers could choose their own level and even progress to the next level in just a short time. They loved being able to move along at their own pace and have a picture of what it should look like! This week we worked through Excel. Easiest workshop I've ever done, and one of the most effective! Teachers left feeling very proud of what they had learned on their own with just a little help from the "chef!" Thank you  - it's just what we were looking for!

Users gain actual application experience while they are using the tutorial, building both comfort and confidence. The Recipes are delivered in a small window on the side of the screen, guiding users step-by-step through the actual application they are learning.

Create customized reference books
Users can create tutorials or reference sets by combining references using the My Books feature. Books can be compiled from multiple software programs to create a customized learning tool that can be used on-screen or saved as a PDF file.
Leveled for learners
The Recipes4Success provides differentiated content for learners with diverse reading and computer proficiency. Beginning computer users and readers, as well as those fluent with technology, can choose from materials appropriate for their proficiency and reading level.

Addresses multiple learning styles
Users more comfortable with print materials can print any tutorial or reference. Learners can also choose to have the computer read the tutorial. They can start, stop, and pause the computer at any time so the tutorial progresses at their own pace.
