Recipes4Success Implementation Workshop

The Implementing the Recipes4Success workshop is designed to develop a cadre of teachers and trainers (up to 25) in your district to help you successfully implement the Recipes4Success.

This full-day workshop includes training on basic features of the Recipes and Snacks, participants will learn how the assessment, levels, MyBooks, and My Account can help them customize the Recipes experience for teachers and students at a variety of levels. Participants will explore a variety of strategies for moving the Recipes from a basic training tool to a district-wide professional development program. They will leave motivated and prepared to effectively begin using the Recipes with their students and teachers.

Techniques and topics include:

• how the Recipes and Snacks function,
• models for integration,
• options for differentiation,
• how to set up student accounts, 
• how to assess ability level, and
• using the Recipes to drive your staff development program.

Recipes4Success Introductory Workshop

This half-day, or after-school, workshop is designed to introduce your teachers to the Recipes4Success and help them get started using the tutorials and references right away.

Once they are logged into their Recipes4Success account, participants will get an overview of how and when to use the Recipes and Snacks. They will use the assessment feature to determine the level they should begin and explore and print Recipes and Snacks for a software tool they have in their classrooms. Participants will discuss how they can implement the Recipes and Snacks with their students in a lab, at a center, or for self-study.

They will leave motivated and prepared to effectively begin using the Recipes in their classrooms.
