installation Frames does not launch (Windows 2000 or XP).

Frames does not launch after installation (Windows 2000 or XP).
Double-clicking the application icon does nothing. You can resolve this issue by following these steps: You need to be logged on as an Administrator. 1. Disable your antivirus
software. If you are using Norton AntiVirus, right-click the icon in the
System Tray and choose "Disable Auto-Protect". For
other antivirus software, consult the application's documentation. |

2. Frames
doesn't find any images in Pics4Learning |

3. Music files in iTunes are grayed
out. Music purchased from the iTunes music store is protected by copyright, also known as Digital Rights Management. These files will display as part of your iTunes library but you will not be able to add them to a Frames animation. |

4. Audio
CD tracks are not available in the file chooser. Frames supports MP3, WAV, AIFF and MIDI sound formats. Audio CDs are in a different format and will need to be converted. You can find many utilities that will convert CD audio tracks to an MP3 or WAV (commonly known as 'ripping') including iTunes. There are many programs that are free or low cost.After you've converted your Audio CD or track to a MP3 or WAV, you will be able to add it to Frames. |
