2. After installation MediaBlender does not launch (Windows 2000 or XP). Double-clicking the application icon does nothing.
Some antivirus programs conflict with the installation of the Java components that are installed by MediaBlender.

1. Disable your antivirus software. If you are using Norton AntiVirus, right-click the icon in the System Tray and choose "Disable Auto-Protect". For other antivirus software, consult the applications documentation.

3. Grey screen launching the browser version of MediaBlender.
The computer does not have the required version of Java installed. Download and run the MediaBlender System Checker on the MediaBlender Start Page.

4. Error playing movies: "Cannot find file x".
Reinstall QuickTime using the System Checker on the MediaBlender Start Page. If you are using the QuickTime Installer from the Apple web site, be sure to check the Custom Install Radio button. Select the QuickTime components that you wish to install. You must select QT for Java.

5. Sounds and movies do not play.

Scrollable text objects are supported in HTML exported from versions 2.5+. Download the latest MediaBlender upgrade.
