Stop Motion Magic
Learn how to make your own animated movies to demonstrate science processes and tell stories.
Participants will learn to use the drawing tools in Frames to illustrate their own animations and apply other tools to add text, titles, music, narration, transitions, and more to share content information and communicate ideas and understanding.

Software Skills
Participants will gain experience with Frames, learning how to:
- draw shapes and change curves to create images
- save and export illustrations for use in animation
- import folders of images, then add text, music, and narration
- export movies in a variety of formats.
Timeline
This one-day workshop runs for approximately six hours. During the morning, participants will explore project ideas and learn the basics of Frames. During the afternoon, participants will apply what they have learned to create their own original animations. The day ends with ideas for integration and strategies for implementation.
