We are moving from the information age to the conceptual age. In a world of immediate and inexhaustible information, how do we prepare students to succeed and complete in our global economy, find personal fulfillment, and care for our future? In this workshop, participants will explore the potential of 21st century learning environments and learn successful strategies for identifying needs, measuring successe, and promoting this learning environment within a school or district.

Explore the potential of 21st century learning environments, recognizing their elements and learning successful strategies for fostering these learning environments.

Timeline
In the morning, participants will explore the lives of digital natives through research, videos, classroom stories, and project work. Participants will work together to define the characteristics of a 21st century learning environment and explore strategies for identifying, measuring, and assessing progress toward this goal.
In the afternoon, we will explore our strengths as administrators and learn how we can best support, manage, and promote styles of learning that help students develop the skills necessary for success in the 21st century.

Requisite Skills
