Podcasting Made Easy

This workshop is designed for educators working with students in grades 3-12.

"Teachers reading stories to kids so they can hear it at home; students recapping what they learned in school so parents can instigate communication at the dinner table; middle school students interviewing their grandparents to find out what life was like in the “olden days”; students talking about pictures from a field trip; kindergarten students showing and talking about opposites…These are a few examples of podcasting and vodcasting projects that our students and teachers do on a regular basis. With a microphone and audio recording software, teachers and students can create podcasts in minutes. With Frames, teachers and students can easily create vodcasts. Using podcasts and vodcasts is a great way to bridge the gap from school to home and to engage students as they show understanding of concepts. "
