Paint a Gradient

You can fill an area with a gradient.

Click the Gradient button on the tool palette.


You will see the gradient options in the editing panel.


Click the Type button for the gradient you want to use.


Use the Colors slider to choose how many colors are in the gradient. The gradient uses colors from the color wells on the tool palette.


Use the Angle dial to change the orientation of the gradient.


You will see a preview of the gradient in the editing panel.


Click a solid color in the picture to fill it with the gradient.
