Convert Text to an Image

You can convert a text layer into an image layer. This is called rasterizing.

This feature is useful when you are creating text using a font that you may not have access to on another computer.

Go to the Layers panel and click the text layer you want to convert.

You will see handles around the text.

Go to the Options menu and choose Convert to Image.

The text icon will disappear from the layers panel, indicating that the layer is no longer text.

The handles around the text will also disappear.

Once you convert text to an image, you can use the paint tools to modify the text. You can no longer change the text, font, or font size.
