Adjust the Emboss Effect
You can adjust the settings for the Emboss effect. Click the Effects tab above the editing panel.
You will see the effects library.
Use the scroll bar to find the Stylize folder.
Double-click the Stylize
folder to open it.
You will see the Stylize filters.
Click the Emboss
Click the Edit
button in the editing panel.
You will see the Emboss dialog.
An emboss effect makes a picture look like a raised design in grayscale.
Click and drag the Amount
slider to change how much relief is applied to image.
Dragging to the right makes the image show more relief.
Dragging to the left makes the image show less relief.
The preview will update to show the new settings.
You can zoom in to see the effect in more detail.
Click the Zoom
Click the preview.
The preview will be magnified.
You can move the preview while it is magnified.
Click the Hand
Click and drag the preview to look at another part of the picture.
When you are happy with the settings, click the OK
The effect will be applied.
