Adjust the Noise Effect
You can adjust the settings for the Noise effect. Click the Effects tab above the editing panel.
You will see the effects library.
Use the scroll bar to find the Stylize folder.
Double-click the Stylize
folder to open it.
You will see the Stylize filters.
Click the Noise
Click the Edit
button in the editing panel.
You will see the Noise dialog.
The Noise effect randomly adds colored pixels to your image or selection.
Click and drag the Amount
slider to change how many pixels are added to the image.
Dragging to the right adds more pixels to the image.
Dragging to the left adds fewer pixels to the image.
Check the Monochrome
check box to have all of these pixels be gray.
Uncheck the Monochrome check box to have these pixels be randomly colored.
The preview will update to show the new settings.
You can zoom in to see the effect in more detail.
Click the Zoom
Click the preview.
The preview will be magnified.
You can move the preview while it is magnified.
Click the Hand
Click and drag the preview to look at another part of the picture.
When you are happy with the settings, click the OK
The effect will be applied.
