Scale a Selection
You can scale an area you have selected. Open an image.
Click the layer in the Layers panel containing the piece of the image you want to scale.
Click the Selection tool on the tool palette.
You will see selection
options in the Options panel.
Select the part of the image you want to scale. You may use any selection tool option.
When the image is selected, you will see handles
on the corners.
Use the Transform
pull-down menu to choose Scale
Move the cursor over one of the handles on the selection.
Click and drag to resize the selection.
Drag toward the middle of the selection to make it smaller.
Draw away from the center of the selection to make it larger.
Press and hold down the Shift
key on the keyboard while dragging to scale the selection proportionally.
