Make a Gif Animation

You can save an animation as an animated GIF file to use on a Web page.

GIF files are only 256 colors and cannot support sound. GIF animations are best with animations you have created using the drawing tools.

Click the Project button on the toolbar.


Move the cursor over the Export button.


You will see the Export sub-panel.

Click the GIF button.


You will see the Save As dialog.


Type a name for the movie in the Save As field.


Click the Save button.

Frames will create the animation.

You will see the Finished Exporting dialog.


Click the Launch button to watch the animation, or click the OK button to return to Frames.
