Publish to an FTP Server

You can publish your site to an FTP server. This creates all the Web pages, collects all your resources, and places them on the server.

Click the Project button on the toolbar.


Click the Export button.


You will see the export options panel.


Click the FTP button in the Export HTML area.


You will see the Publish to FTP dialog.


Type the URL or IP address of your FTP server in the Host field.

Type your username in the Username field.

Type your password in the Password field.


Click the Login button.

You will see the directories on the FTP server.


Locate the place you want to create the site.

Click the New Directory button to create a directory for the site.


You will see a directory called UntitledFolder.

Click the folder name and type a new name for the directory.

Double-click the new directory to open it.

Click the Save button.

Your site will be published into the new directory.

Click the OK button when you are finished publishing.
