Add a Gradient to the Background

You can change the background color of a frame to a gradient.

Select a frame.

You will see the Frame Options panel.

Click the Fill pull-down menu and choose a type of gradient.

Click the first color box to select a color for the gradient.

Select a color from the color palette.

Click the second color box to select the second color for the gradient.

Select a color from the color palette.

You can use the gradient Fill Handles on the background to change the way the gradient looks.

There are two arrows; one for each color of the gradient.

Click and drag a handle to change the angle and distance of the gradient.

Click the Apply to All Frames button if you want to make this gradient the background for all the frames in the animation.
