Align Content Using Onion Skin

You can use the Onion Skin feature to align objects on a frame based on previous frames. This is useful if you are animating a shape or character you have created or your camera position changed while taking your pictures.

Click a frame in the Storyboard or Timeline.

You will see the Frame Options panel.

Click the Onion Skin check box.

You will see both the current frame and the previous frame in the workspace.

Click and drag objects to align the current frame with the previous frame.

You can see up to 10 previous frames at once.

Type the number of frames you want to see in the Onion Skin frame box.

You will see the content of all of the frames you chose.

Continue to align objects by choosing frames in the Timeline or Storyboard.

When you are done aligning objects, uncheck the Onion Skin check box.
